+ How do I book directly with Room & Roam?
Book through our website via the BOOK NOW button, or by searching our spaces. If you have specific needs, or want help choosing a neighborhood, email us at office@roomandroam.com.
+ What’s your check-in process?
Since we don’t have a front desk, we offer seamless check-in on your phone. For that reason, we need to make sure you’re you before you arrive. We ask that you send us a selfie of you holding your government issued ID. We also ask that you confirm your email address and phone number so we can reach you with any updates about your reservation.
+ Are there any additional charges?
Just standard hotel taxes based on laws and regulations, and a cleaning fee to cover the cost of tidying up after your checkout.
+ When will I be charged?
Your credit card will be charged for the entire stay, including tax and cleaning, when you book.
+ Is there a security deposit?
We require a $200 deposit upon booking. This helps build trust between both parties. In the event the space is damaged, or house rules are violated, you’ll only be charged if we make a claim on the security deposit.
+ How do I change the dates of my reservation?
You can request to extend or modify the dates of your existing reservation by making an alteration request through your booking app.
+ What’s your cancellation policy?
Bookings cancelled within five days before your stay will receive a 100% refund. For cancellations after five days of the check-in date, the first night of the booking will not be refunded and only 50% of the accommodation fees for the rest of the booking will be refunded. If you decide to cancel after check-in, then 50% of the accommodation fees for any unspent nights are refundable. However, any nights spent will not be refunded.
+ Will someone meet me at my Room?
We’ll send you instructions on how to enter your Room three days prior to your arrival, after you’ve completed the online check-in process. Your instructions will include secure access codes, a lockbox location, or in rare cases, guidance on how to meet an R&R host. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out through the app or email us at office@roomandroam.com.
+ What are your house rules?
R&R has three simple rules: no smoking, no parties, no pets. These rules are applicable to all reservations unless stated in your booking agreement. Violating these rules will result in fees or eviction. Additionally, our quiet hours are from 10 p.m. – 8 a.m. local time.
+ What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 3 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. We may be able to accommodate an earlier or later time depending on availability.
+ Do you provide daily housekeeping?
No. However, if you need extra towels or fresh linens, please reach out through your booking app and we’ll be happy to provide them.
+ Are your spaces kid-friendly?
We happily host many families.
+ What kind of amenities do you offer?
All Rooms are fully stocked to ensure you have the comforts of home while you stay with us. This includes bath amenities, fresh towels, coffee and kitchen essentials (in select spaces).
+ Do you have kitchen necessities if I want to cook?
All spaces with full kitchens are equipped with the necessities, ranging from cooking utensils to dinnerware and prep materials. We also provide basic condiments such as olive oil, salt and pepper.
+ Do I need to bring my own personal care products?
All Rooms come with soap, shampoo and conditioner -- as well as hair dryers and ironing boards.
